【Drug Interactions】
No such experiments have been conducted and there are no reliable references.
【Pharmacological Action】
This product is an endogenous coenzyme B12 that participates in the one-carbon unit cycle and plays an important role in the transmethylation reaction of homocysteine to methionine. Animal experiments have shown that this product enters neuronal organelles more readily than cyanocobalamin, participating in the synthesis of thymidine in brain cells and spinal cord neurons, promoting folic acid utilization and nucleic acid metabolism, and exhibiting a stronger effect in promoting nucleic acid and protein synthesis than cyanocobalamin. This product can promote axonal transport and regeneration, normalizing the transport of sciatic nerve axonal skeletal proteins in streptozotocin-induced diabetic rats, and inhibiting drug-induced neurodegeneration, such as that induced by doxorubicin, acrylamide, vincristine, and neurological diseases in spontaneously hypertensive rats. In rat tissue culture, this product has been found to promote lecithin synthesis and neuronal myelination. This product can restore delayed synaptic transmission and reduced neurotransmitter levels to normal, and restores endplate potential induction by increasing nerve fiber excitability, restoring acetylcholine levels in the brains of rats fed a choline-deficient diet to normal levels. Toxicological studies on reproductive toxicity: Oral administration of this product at doses of 0.2, 2.0, and 20 mg/kg/day to rats and mice during the teratogenic sensitive period did not result in any abnormalities or teratogenic signs in fetuses or newborns.
