【Indications】
Used for Parkinson's disease and Parkinson's syndrome.
【Dosage and Administration】
The initial oral dose is 250mg, 2-4 times a day, after meals. The dose may be increased every 3-7 days, depending on the patient's tolerance, ranging from 125-750mg daily, until the optimal therapeutic effect is achieved. The maximum daily dose is 6g, divided into 4-6 doses. Dosage should be reduced for post-encephalitis patients and elderly patients.
【Adverse Reactions】
Common adverse reactions include nausea, vomiting, orthostatic hypotension, abnormal involuntary movements of the head, face, tongue, upper limbs, and upper body, depression, and dysuria. Less common adverse reactions include hypertension, arrhythmia, and hemolytic anemia.
【Contraindications】
This medication is contraindicated in patients with severe mental illness, severe arrhythmia, heart failure, glaucoma, peptic ulcer, or a history of seizures. 1. Concomitant use of this product with non-selective monoamine oxidase inhibitors may cause acute adrenal crisis. 2. Concomitant use of this product with acetylspiramycin may significantly reduce the blood concentration of this product and weaken its efficacy. 4. Concomitant use of this product with reserpine may inhibit the effect of this product and should be avoided. 5. Concomitant use of this product with antipsychotic drugs should be avoided because they are antagonistic. 6. Concomitant use of this product with methyldopa may increase the adverse reactions of this product and enhance the antihypertensive effect of methyldopa.
【Pharmacological Action】
