【Indications】
This product is a histamine H1 receptor antagonist, suitable for the prevention and treatment of allergic rhinitis, urticaria, eczema, dermatitis, pruritus, prurigo, psoriasis vulgaris with pruritus, and allergic bronchial asthma in adults.
【Dosage and Administration】
1. Allergic rhinitis: Adults, take 10-20mg (1-2 capsules) orally once a day. Or as directed by a physician according to the condition.
2. Urticaria, eczema, dermatitis, pruritus, psoriasis, bronchial asthma: Adults usually take 20mg (2 capsules) orally once a day. Or take as directed by your doctor based on age and symptoms.
【Adverse Reactions】
1. Allergic reactions: Discontinue use if rash, or occasionally urticaria, itching, or pruritic erythema occurs.
2. Nervous system: Occasionally drowsiness, fatigue, and headache.
3. Digestive system: Gastrointestinal dysfunction or indigestion.
4. Liver: Elevated AST and ALT levels may occur; occasionally elevated ALP, total cholesterol, and jaundice.
5. Kidneys: Occasionally proteinuria may occur.
6. Circulatory system: Palpitation.
7. Respiratory system: Occasionally dyspnea, difficulty expectorating, and nasal congestion.
8. Blood: Rarely, leukocytosis. Please contact your doctor if adverse reactions occur during treatment.
【Contraindications】
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of its components.
【Precautions】
1. Patients on long-term steroid therapy should appropriately reduce their steroid dosage when starting this medication.
2. Most patients taking this medication can drive or perform tasks requiring mental concentration. However, for individuals with sensitive drug reactions, it is recommended to avoid driving or operating precision machinery after taking this medication.
3. This product differs from bronchodilators and steroids; it is not a medication for rapidly relieving asthma attacks and symptoms. Therefore, necessary explanations should be given to patients when using it to treat bronchial asthma.

Pregnancy and Lactation Precautions:
1. Pregnancy: Not recommended for pregnant women, especially during the first trimester, or only after a doctor has assessed the benefits and risks of treatment.
2. Lactation: Studies have shown that the drug can be transferred to breast milk; therefore, it is not recommended for breastfeeding women. If use is necessary, breastfeeding should be discontinued.
Precautions for the Elderly: Most elderly patients have impaired liver and kidney function. This product is mainly excreted through the kidneys. Regular observation for adverse reactions and clinical symptoms (rash, thirst, stomach discomfort) is necessary. If abnormalities occur, the dosage should be appropriately reduced (e.g., 10 mg/day) or the medication should be discontinued immediately.

【Pharmacological Action】
Epinastine is a histamine H1 receptor antagonist. This product inhibits histamine, leukotriene C4, PAF, and serotonin, and can inhibit the release of histamine and slow-reacting substance A (SRS-A) chemical mediators. Due to the characteristics of its chemical structure, this product has difficulty crossing the blood-brain barrier and has a weak antagonistic effect on H1 receptors in the central nervous system.
