【Pharmacological Action】
1. Pharmacology: The main component of this product, aminopeptide, is a potent substance extracted from animal organs. It can enhance the body's metabolism and disease resistance, and helps in the proliferation, differentiation, maturation, and release of blood cells, having a good effect on increasing the number of cells and platelets.
2. Toxicology: In mice, the LD50 after oral administration is greater than 15 g/kg. Subacute toxicity tests on rats and dogs showed no abnormalities in animal growth, blood counts, liver and kidney function; histological examination revealed no pathological changes in organs such as the heart, liver, lungs, kidneys, stomach, intestines, spleen, adrenal glands, and brain. Using the Salmonella typhimurium/microsomal assay to detect mutagenic activity, aminopeptide showed no mutagenicity under the experimental conditions; in safety experiments, no changes in chromosome karyotype and structure were observed, nor was the formation of drug-specific antibodies or immune complexes observed; no significant changes were observed in lymphocyte transformation, macrophage phagocytic function, stimulation of specific antibody formation, spleen function, and cAMP levels.
